Well besides the fricken bird...
I went for a 'walk' with Rach today during her study period was great to catch up.
Worked...
Went to It's Complicated with Tabi.
The thing is that movie was complicated. It made me miss my older sister so much! I mean when it counts the ones who understand the effects of the divorce you parents go through are your siblings. Sure over people's parents are divorced in stuff but the only ones who understand your parents situation is each other.
I remember when they first split, just spending ages with my sister. Going through all the firsts - first christmas particuraly as they split up just before christmas. We shifted to Wellington just after 4th term ended.
People may have similar experinces bt they are neither exactly the same. As everyone has a slightly different point of view. Ask a group of people what they all thought of the same play and different points stand out. Just depends on who you are.
Family seems real important at the moment - the ones who are meant to be there to put you back on your feet no matter what. Does not seem to happen for everyone. I'm quite lucky when it has come to my family - I have a mum who loves me, a older sister who is when she is focused on yo is really with it, a younger brother who is going through a hard time but still trys to smile and have lots of fun and a little sister who tends to be whiney but is finally starting to stop it.
But I also have my awesome friends- and best friends who often seem like sister more then anything.
The reason for the longish post is Rachel said they were getting very short and since I think she is the only one to read it in her 20min time limit then I decided to make a longer one. Plus this why I can remeber more what gibberish I was thinking at that point and time.
such a true post.
