Just finished this book, if anyone wants to borrow it they are welcome to.

Basically it's about how "People do have an impact on the lives of others; that's undeniable"

Even the smallest comment can have an effect on someone. The girl Hannah is around 16/17 - around most people I knows age.

It just reminded me again how people can change others lives by the most simplest comments, or actions. If you are worried about someone - talk to them. That is what I learnt anyway.

Busy couple of days, been great.

Yesterday I went to Wellington with Katty and mum.

I suprisingly spent alot of money, buying lots of things; high heels (omg, they are prety cool to) a merino top (one thing less to buy now) a money bag. and lots of over little things. and an mp3 player!!!

I went to a 21st which was actually the aim going to Welly. It was pretty cool at the top of the cable cars. Did not get asked for ID, though other people did, not to sure how to take that. Kathleen decided she would 'shout' me a drink - so I would 'shout' her one in return. The drinks were all subsidised at $3 each which for Wellington is really cheap. Tasted good to, once I was on the Midori and lemonade. Cute waiter. Did not drink enough to be sick on the way home... No one did which was good. Poor mum had to drive to welly and back all in the one day.

Worked my last Sunday, just waiting for my visa now...

Well last night I had emailed the people over in Finland slightly telling them my situation.

Hi,

We're so sorry to hear about your VISA trouble. Lasse already phoned the immigration authorities last week, and he's going to do it again this week.

Here everything is fine. The children are happy, and we do a lot of things together. We still have a fantastic winter weather, I wish it would last forever or at least until you arrive so you could experience it too.

I swapped job again (according to my plans) and work at the hospital that is only 2 km away. The ward is a rehabilitation ward for neurological patients, so we mainly have stroke patients.

I am very worried about my visa. Thanks to Lasse for checking, what news did he have?
If I do not get it by the end of this month would you be willing to wait till I do recieve my visa, for me to come over?

As if not I would need to make other plans regarding this year. As my option for this year if I can not got to Finland, is uni is starting in two weeks.

I would still love to go over to Finland, and live with your family and take care of your children. I have been so excited for it, but I would understand if you did not want to wait.

This is rather urgent point, you could ring me if you wish.

Hi Josephine,

This is Lasse writing. The weather is really wonderful this year, we all hope you can come over soon. I did call the immigrant office but it was not easy to get any answer. I will have to call them again, as I could not speak to the right person so I got some sort of standard answer type "please wait, we do not no anything, we just work here".

We will however wait for you regardless if it still takes some time, you are more than welcome to our home - so don't worry about that. I have a meeting the whole day tomorrow, but I will call them on Wednesday.

Do you have any copy of the visa application or reference number or similar to refer to when I talk to them? Im not sure but it might help.

So I think that made up my mind all over again! So now I will be going to Finland no idea when, no where though at least.

I explained more after mum gave me a lecture - well not really just her honest opinion that you have to be open with people at all times. It makes life so much easier. If I had known from the start that I would go no matter what my life would have been so much easier this last summer! Now I need to ring up the uni people and study link people grrrr.

Took Jolene to the doctors today poor kid. Had another boil!!! But on the way home she fall over and grazed her leg right above it. Poor kid.

Went for a walk late at night with Tabi. "What do you wanna do?" "Cause trouble" "K" "Wait what???"

Great fun gonna miss er heaps when she goes.

Monday 15th February 2010 - DDay

Well I decided to go to university this morning.

glad to finally have the decision made. I mean there was no sign of my visa and I had not heard from the people in awhile. So I rang up and applied for studylink and all that sort of jizz jazz.

Told my older sister and a few others, even looked online at flats.

I am now really excited to go to uni and get everything all sorted out!

I can not wait. Finally really starting life. Leaving home on SUNDAY - so soon!

Will hardly get a chance to say goodbye unless I go into school one day...

Sunday 14th February 2010 Valentines Day

Was in such a different place this time last year, this time last year I was going out with someone.

We went and had lunch at the River. Which was nice till I managed to stab myself, nice way to end a date. It was a really fun time - for me. Mum on the other hand, did not have so much fun.

This year I spent it working :) and actually deicded it was a good way to spend it.

Except in the morning I could not sleep so I went for a walk. Did you know they do roadworks between Palmy and Feilding at 2am? So yea I had a very intresting walk. . .

Friday 12th February 2010

Woke up to the smell of hot cakes :)

So yummy!

Great start to the day.

Went shopping at the supermarket which was cool.

.Came home and watched friends - one of myfav shows ever.

Worked.

Played singstar with just a little bit drunk Tabi.

Went for a walk. Which was rather funny.

c.c took us home. As sadly we decided we were tired at 1am tear.
